Children's Dentistry

We know that the first impression we make on children has to be good if we are going to set up a lifetime of good habits.

Your child’s first visit to the dentist should familiarise them with this strange place, where people wear gloves and masks, and it should also be about education.

We will show them how to brush their teeth, talk to them about the importance of what they eat and drink and begin to build an understanding that they have to look after their teeth for life. If there is a need, we may clean your child’s teeth at this visit.

Should your child require any further dental treatment, we are able to provide a comprehensive range of services. No parent wants to see their child upset, so when treating children our goal is to make sure they feel comfortable and secure. In some cases, a referral to a specialist paediatric dentist may be required.

Child Dental Benefits Schedule (Medicare C.D.B.S)

The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (C.D.B.S) provides basic dental services to children aged between 2 and 17 years.
